Michael Jackson is Going to Walk

I know I wrote a post a little over a month ago that said Michael Jackson was going down. I'm not so sure now. This case is taking too long. The prosecutors in this case are falling victim to the same disease that the prosecutors in the O.J. Simpson Trial suffered from - which is an allergy to the KISS method (KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid). The prosecutors are afraid that if they don't put out every little piece of evidence they have (even if the evidence is irrelevant to the charge or only loosely related), then they aren't doing their job.

The prosecutors have forgetten that real live human beings with limited attention spans are sitting in the jury box. The longer this trial goes on, the greater the chance is that they will lose this jury, and Wacko Jacko will walk. The prosecutors have lost their focus, and they are going off on these side tangential issues like the prior accusations against Jackson. I agree that they should have brought the past up if they could, but it looks like they had no plan to simply and effectively deliver the message to this jury that Jackson was a child molester in the past, still is a child molester, and always will be. The longer the prosecutors allow this trial to go on, the more reasonable doubt they create for Jackson.
