NFL Preseason Football is Pointless

Right now there is an NFL Exhibition game on ESPN - Falcons vs. Jags in JAX. I love football, but I cannot get excited about the preseason. The don't run anything fancy because they don't want to tip the other teams in the league off. The NFL needs to cut back the Preseaon (and BTW, the NFL does not refer to these games as "Exhibition" games, and the TV announcers are specifically told not to use the word "Exhibition") to 2 games at the most, and then jump into the season.

I bet most NFL players would love that. They play 4 (or some teams 5) games because of $$$$$. The tickets cost the same for an Exhibition, excuse me..., Preseaon Game, and the hot dogs and water-downed beer costs the same, too.

Bring on Thursday, September 8 and the games that mean something.
