Eagles to Win Super Bowl

Patriot fan, you chowder heads will be packing it back in and heading back to Boston with your heads hanging in shame. Don't worry, picthers and catchers report in about 3 weeks, so Pedro Martinez will be slinging his curve ball soon to carry you back to the World Series. Oh, sorry. Pedro is a New York Met now. My bad.

The Eagles will win Super Bowl XXXIX. Donovan McNabb is the real deal, and he will be the difference maker. Why is no one giving him any love? He's been in the league 6 years now, and just had his best season yet statistically. He will do something on Sunday he hasn't had to do a lot of this year - he will use his wheels and run, and his team will enter the promised land of Super Bowl greatness. It will be a close game. Eagles win it on a last second David Akers field goal, 28-27.

Why is it that Jeff talks about cycling (which bores me to tears) and you talk about sports in general (which bores me to tears)? Alas, I think someone should do a blog about me. All Tim, all the time. I think I'll start my own blog. How's this for a title: The Bratch Attack? I like it.

Chuckie, it's been a while since we communicated, but I think of you and Dougie and Allan (heard from him?) and Jeffie, and Sheila, and . . . the rest, a lot. I hate being away from Screwyville, but I'm totally digging Atlanta. Bought a house, put a darkroom (for photography) in the basement, and still trying to find that one incredible way to leave my mark on the world.

Still not married . . . . I just don't think it's in the cards for me.

Will catch up soon, but wanted to say that your blog looks great, I always loved your sense of humor, and I hope you and the fam are doing well.

Take care,

Tim

Super Bowl XXXIX Prediction:

Halftime score:

Philadelphia XXI
New England VI

Final Score:

New England XXXIV
Philadelphia XXVIII

(the NFL requires Roman Numerals)

But I would prefer to see the Eagles win.

Rumour has it, in lieu of the classic Gatorade bath, Donovan McNabb's Mom would dump a bowl of Chunky Soup on the coach's head!

That would be almost as interesting as seeing Janet Jackson's pierced and wrinkled old boobie!

PS, over under on Male Erictile Disfunction ads is 12.

JC, Voice of Reason

PS, the Blog Meister would not accept "JC" so, I remain anonymous.

I was so disappointed in the outcome last night. I felt like the Eagles didn't utilize time well at all in the last part of the 4th quarter and that really cut their options. It was very frustrating to watch the seconds click away while they refused to go into a hurry up offense....ugh...
