Cincinnati Reds Need Help

In an effort to improve the team, the Cincinnati Reds fired former Louisville Bats manager Dave Miley this week. Dave Miley is not the problem. The Reds pitching, or absolute lack thereof, is the problem. The fact that Sean Casey has not hit a sacrifice fly since September, 2003 is the problem (Everyone knows that the sacrifice fly is the most underrated and underutilized play in baseball). Same deal with the LA Dodgers and their firing of hitting coach Eddie Murray. Eddie Murray is not the problem with the hitters in LA.

Until the Reds obtain some arms that know the location and zip code of the strike zone, their address in the basement of the National League Central will remain unchanged.
