Tiger Woods will win US Open

Tiger shot an even par 70 and is 3 back of the leader after the first round of the 2005 US Open. Go ahead and put his name on the trophy. All these other hacks are playing for second place.

Eldrick is on a mission - his swing is retooled (again), he won the Masters, and all he does is point his game towards the Four Majors. Yesterday, he did what he needed to do, which is not shot 77 and take himself out of contention for the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, dude is the best there is.

So, after he wins on Sunday, how do you think he'll do at the third Major of the year - the British Open, which will be at St. Andrews?

I watched the entire US Open in person and I would definitely say that 3 kick rule is wrong...Tiger is still a very strong player and came back to almost win the Open on Sunday...he is still in there and will continue to be for some time to come.
